Plaques ($45-$90)

The 16" badge plaques are primarily made of locally purchased redwood. To enhance the value and personality of the badge, I customize the piece with the name, badge number and any other desired information. Customized boxes are made of pre-fabricated cornice boxes.

This process requires that I edit and manipulate the badge away from its original design. What sets my work apart from the majority of others is that I wood burn the badge by hand, cut the badge out with a scroll saw and finely sand and finish the piece. Not including the 24 hours of curing time of the redwood plank, each badge plaque requires between 5 and 8 hours of time to complete. Completed boxes are lined with any color
felt available. Any design can be wood burned or engraved on all sides of the box.
